One caveat to watch out for is applications written or used by your
customer set, outside of your supported set of applications. They
may have code that parses the incoming text files for an application
you have never heard about. You may not know about their process,
but you will probably be guilty if it suddenly "stops working".
Another place to watch out for is in report writers. If the dates
suddenly
expand by two characters, you may encounter some formatting problems.
