How can I open a new session from Forms?

Hi,:
I am developping a program which requires me to login in to the oralce server manually. It seems that I can not use the build-in "logon" command because it requires me to first logout, then login again. In one word, it seems that the Forms allows only one session to be opened. I just want to open a new session from my program, let the old session be still active, how can I do that in Forms?
