CLOB querys returning <long text>

Hello,

I am trying to retrieve CLOB values via OCI. It seems that whenever the value is longer than a certains size, any operation, even DBMS_LOB.GETLENGTH(), returns the string '<long text>' instead of the actual column.

I suspect this is a server side setting.
