Hello,

Please help!

Can Oracle manage files on an operating system file system and mirror them, if they are outside the control of the database?

For instance, if one Oracle server keeps a database of information about how files are stored in a folder, which isn't in the database. Can Oracle make sure the files in that folder are kept in sync with another server over a network?

We are using Oracle 8.0.5 Enterprise running on Windows NT Server 4.0 SP3

Thank you in advance. Your help is much appreciated.
