Hello:

I have just been advised that I need to set up a production based instance for a web_based application that will be hosted at an ISP.

This is an online-credit application. I have some thoughts about what parameters need to be sized accordingly. The server will be NT 4.0,sp3 and there is NT 4.0 IIS. Other than that right I don't know much about it right now.

The only oracle product will be the rdbms --8.04.00. Oracle Web-server and any other Oracle products will not be used at this time.
1) What I am looking for is any advice that Oracle can provide for this values to use in the init.ora since I have no idea how many hits will be against this database?

2) Can anyone share their experiences along these lines for web-based applications?

Thanks.
