BLOBs or Images?

Hi everyone,

I need to display numerous images in my application which I have to obtain by scanning them in from a book. These are essentially diagrams, and my question is how best to store these in the database. I am using Forms 4.5 and Server 7, but I don't know whether to store as a BLOB or not.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
