We are running Oracle 8.0.4 on Solaris 2.6 (server) with a Solaris client and an NT4 client. If I telnet or rlogin to the server I can access the database just fine. I can manipulate data just fine. But if I try to either connect via my local workstation on the network (a solaris box) or from a client running Oracle Client 8.0.4 & Net80 (NT4) I get a "Oracle not available" message. On the NT4 I try sqlplus AND net80 easy config. I did a tnsping80 and it apparantly finds the service (it says OK). Any help would be apreciated. This is driving me nuts!

Thanks.
