I took the Oracle8 DBA course and it was pretty good in terms of getting me dangerous. It is a five day course that could have been done in four days. Another course I took was Oracle8 Perf tuning and that was excellent -- however, you should probably take the DBA course and do some reading -- like the Oracle8 complete ref book and the DBA Handbook from Oracle Press.
