Hi Gianfranco,

    Except for available disk space you shouldn't have any problems. You MAY have enough to install Oracle 7.x but in order to install Oracle 8.x I seem to recall that you need something like 800-900MB of free space (after you complete the install you can delete the install temp files and it drops down to under 400MB).

    I have run Oracle 8 on a P75 with 40MB of RAM and found performance to be acceptable for single user type applications and small (under 100,000 row table) databases.
