Setting up DB links

Hi,

I have MASTER DB (Oracle 8.0.4 running on UNIX) and REMOTE DB (PO8) running on a PC. When I create links to go from PO8 -> MASTER there's no problem. But when I reverse this scenario (MASTER -> PO8) I run into various TNS problems. I checked for everything I could. The listener on the PC is running. I also edited TNSNAMES on MASTER to include an entry to connect to my PC.

Has anybody done this?? Any suggestions, examples?
