Hi Cemal,

    Unless you specified OPTIMAL your rollback segments will not shrink. This is okay and unrelated to your performance problems.

    When you created your new rollback segments did you modify your init<sid>.ora file to set the new rollback segments online when the database is started? If not they won't be used unless you manually alter them online.

      I suggest that you obtain a copy of Corrigan and Gurry's book, Oracle Performance Tuning, published by O'Reilly and Associates.
