Top State of the Art Software Developer/Systems Integrator/Defense Contractor
is in need of 2 Oracle Application/Database Cradle to Grave, Client Server
developers for major OO/State-of-the-Art development projects in Columbus and
Dayton, Ohio. Responsible for the design, development, maintenance, tuning,
and management of ORACLE RDBMS databases utilized during client-server
development efforts. Will be part of a development team utilizing
state-of-the-art development tools and techniques to design, develop, and
implement client-server and internet based software systems. Will interface
with the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and customer technical
representatives to understand project requirements and develop and maintain
databases for the effort. Will also act as the lead database point of contact
and mentor for the develompent team and will be responsible for SQL query
design and performance tuning. , Essential Functions: ORACLE database
development, ORACLE database administration Education/Experience/Special
Knowledge Required (Desired Skill Sets): Requires BA/BS and 3 years of
experience developing and administering ORACLE databases. Experience working
in a software development environment desired but not necessary. Must have a
proven ability to work directly with customers and management to define
requirements and translate these requirements into a database design.
