Distributed System

Would like input regarding use of Oracle in development of a distributed application. Front end will be Visual Basic 5.0(no option here). A maximum of 75 users around the country need to perform data entry offline on notebook computers, then dial up and upload their data a couple of times each week. Access has been recommended because it provides data replication. Can Oracle be run reliably on a notebook and does it provide replication? Received on Thu Aug 20 1998 - 22:17:30 CDT
