Salary Ranges

Hi all,

I am looking to move to the Portland (or Seattle) area, and work in programming, or as a DBA.

Does anyone have a good idea about salary ranges?

I want to know what an appropriate salary range to expect is for my background and skills. If you think you have a good idea, please let me know.

I have already checked the salary surveys on the internet, but thought that I would post the question and ask a more qualitative question.

In a simpler way, when you were in my shoes, what was your salary?
