ConText experiences ?

Recently, I found a message and an answer to it in newsgroup comp.databases.oracle.misc about the Oracle ConText cartridge. We keep a database of electronic publications, fully indexed via a thesaurus of controlled index terms, and comprising some seven million articles at the moment.
Currently, we use BASISplus from IDI (Information Dimensions) as database engine, but we have done a test comparison in the early 1990's between BASIS and SQL Text Retrieval (from Oracle). At that time, the outcome was in favour of BASIS, but we are curious how Text Retrieval (now called 'ConText?') has developed in recent years so we might re-consider. Are any of you actually using or evaluating ConText and how is your experience with regard to robustness, performance etc?

Thanks for any info you would like to share with us.
