Hi Jonathan,
The first question is what do you want to know about Oracle
and how are you planning on using it. We have been selling
Oracle books at International Oracle conferences for more
than eight years and the "in" book today, is not necessarily
the one for you. For a great overall view of Oracle and
design "Oracle Design" by Dave Ensor (O'Reilly) is a good
bet. Also to learn about relational databases and get a
good handle on how to "talk" to Oracle "Oracle: A Complete
Reference" in one of it editions is a must (Oracle Press).
If you are just looking for a quick overview, several of the
SAMS books are good. Take a quick look at our website
www.primarykey.com and see what looks interesting...we are
always discounted 15-22%. If you need more help, just call
1-256-880-7858...we are Oracle developers too.
