Which version of the ODBC driver? This sounds like one of two things:
-A a bug in an older version of the driver, (doubtful if you recently
downloaded it)
-A mismatch in the version of the dribver and the version of the
RDBMS.
There isn't a 32 bit version of the driver on the website currently
that will work with a 7.1 RDBMS, now while the 2.5 version would
likely work on a remote 7.1 RDBMS, it will probably not on a local 7.1
RDBMS as the Required Support Files will be mismatched.
