Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> Designer 2K 2.1 Design Capture From ODBC Database Problem....
Hello All!
In Designer/2000 2.1, Is anyone aware of a problem when attempting to Design Capture or reverse engineer a Database Server Model from an ODBC data source? After selecting ANY of the ODBC drivers available to me (Excel, MS Access, Paradox..etc) and hitting the START key to begin reverse engineering, I am greeted with 3 error messages:
DWFDE20 caused an invalid page fault in
module CDS20.DLL at 0157:01dbdb4f.
DWFDE20 caused an invalid page fault in
module DWRSG20.DLL at 0157:01cd8e55.
DWFDE20 caused an invalid page fault in
module MFC40.DLL at 0157:7de812b6.
My Setup:
Designer 2000 Rel 2.1 WIN95/NT
Personal Oracle 8.0.4 for WIN95/NT
Oracle Enterprise Edition 8.0.4 on UNIX Solaris 2.6
Microsoft ODBC 3.5 SDK
My Designer 2000 repository is stored and accessed from the UNIX machine.
As a test to confirm a valid install, I installed designer/2000 on a
separate
PC with identical configurations, and was able to replicate the error
again.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Thanks for all your help! Received on Sun Jul 19 1998 - 20:42:52 CDT
