Can I Check Who Is Using The System?

More than 1 user can logon to an Oracle database at the same time.
Does Oracle provide any machanism to check how many user is using
the database (even if idle ones) and who?



Should i create a table to keep all logged-on users?   A bit stupid, 
isn't it?
