How to estimate diskspace needed...?

Hello All! I am just starting to work with Oracle. We have a prototype on a NT machine running Oracle 8. I have designed my tables and created and loaded them with some data. I am starting to get estimates on the number of records we are going to be receiving and I am wanting to know if there is some formula or method used to estimate how much hard drive space will be needed based on an estimate of number of records to be entered?

Are there some special views I can query against to see how much I am using now?

Also, as it stands right now, we are operating on 1 hard disk. When I designed the tables I put indexes and data and some other lookup tables into their own tablespaces. Will it be of a large benefit to go ahead and get multiple HD's and put the different tablespaces on different drives?

Any help, suggestions and/or pointers to infomation on these questions GREATLY appreciated!
