Oracle and delphi

hello,
at my company we are working with oracle database. I am experienced with programmin delphi (but not client/server) and I want to practice the comibination of delphi 3 with oracle database. At first I want to practise only on a stand alone computer not really in a network.
I have delphi 2 professional
What I have to buy/do:
to install oracle on my computer
to define databases
to work witt theses databases together with delphi.

I do not want to invest money for server software up to now, because I only want to practise.
