How do I best exclude a subset of tables from schema1 from showing up in schema2 (used as the apex parsing schema)?

If I grant select on just one table in schema1 to schema2 and then go into Apex (schema2 is the parsing schema) -> App Builder -> Create Page -> Report -> Interactive Report -> Page -> Region Attributes, next, next and look at the table/View owner drop down list... ALL the tables from schema1 show up and you can create a report revealing all the table data. If I revoke the one grant select... then schema2 does not show up in the owner drop down list.

What's up with that?

We only want a subset of schema1 tables to be viewable/usable in the apex reports.
