Sorry for the late reply, I took some days off.
Thanks for all your comments and suggestions, I checked most of them and were very useful.
As I said in one of my comments, there was something very basic, but I'll share it here just for reference....
I needed to allow to run xwindows to other users than root, that's why the dbca was not starting, the command was as simple as this (executed with root):
xhost+
