Which is the WebTier Home in an GC install?

Concerning patch 20124292, the readme says:

Set the ORACLE_HOME environment variable to webtier home.
Stop all opmn, OHS services.

Which is the home for the WebTier?

/gc_inst/WebTierIH1

OR
/middleware/Oracle_WT

I've been operating under the impression that the the webtier home was
/middleware/Oracle_WT but I'm now I'm concerned I've applied the patches to
the wrong place.
