Hi Herlad, Could you please send your RMAN scripts, which you are using to backup and also to restore. I have a 4TB database and it takes 48 hours to do full backup and restore also takes around the same time or little longer than the backup time. My database is on 11.2.0.3 and using Netbackup.

yes, we did last week a 6TB recovery and made about 1.1 TB/hr. Commvault and Oracle 11.2.0.4.

What I am about to ask i know is difficult to answer without knowing all the variables/environments etc...
Curious what timeline people are getting on while backing up around 4TB using RMAN. I was told we should be looking at 1TB per hour. I plan on taken my own benchmarks.
