Chris,
I took a look at the README file - and not trying to second guess you here
  • but since you mention that you need to apply this Patch to the GRID (GI/CRS) Home also - have you looked at the possibility of applying *Patch 16742216 - GRID INFRASTRUCTURE PATCH SET UPDATE 11.2.0.3.7 (INCLUDES DB PSU 11.2.0.3.7) *- this is applicable using "opatch auto" - and purports to contain all the fixes included in the SPU 16742095

My understanding is that for an SPU - if you had to go w/ it - the norm would be to use "opatch auto" - for reference - *OPatch Auto Example to Apply a GI PSU (includes Database PSU)* - from Doc ID 1339140.1

For using "opatch napply" - the suggestion would be to use "all_nodes" or the "-m" flag to the "apply" command - this is discussed in Doc ID 1486109.1

Lastly - if you wish to apply manually - this doc - *Readme - Patch Installation and Deinstallation For 11.2.0.3.x GI PSU (Doc ID 1494646.1)* - has some information on manual application but you will once again observe that "auto" is recommended.

There is an "all_nodes" option that may be passed to "napply" - but I have not used that - perhaps something to investigate with the "-report" option.

Hope this helps...

Thanks,
