You can do the migration for AIX to Linux x86-64 using GoldenGate without any issues. Just make sure you get the correct binaries from edelievery (set for AIX and set for linux). If you are migrating from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.3, you have to use classic capture and apply processes. The instantiation process would use data pump on both sides. Also good to run the profiler to make sure you have not unsupported data types (DOC ID: 1298562.1)
You should be able to run it from a physical stand-by; however, I have always ran mine from source to target for migrations and then reconfigured the DG standby after the migration was done.
