Hi Max,
+1 on the previous post. In fact the MOS document stated something about ERP systems with large dictionaries when I last looked at it. The metadata export of those can take a lot of time while your tablespaces to be migrated are read-only. That can work against your downtime window. If you want to pursue the x-platform TTS + incremental backup route then I'd suggest you clone production and test the export before spending too much time on other tasks.
