Colleagues and friends,

The *Call For Abstracts* for the *RMOUG Training Days 2015 <http://www.rmoug.org>* conference (*17-19 February 2015*) in Denver Colorado has been open for some time, and ends on *Thursday 02-Oct 2014*. So, for those of you who have already submitted (and over 30 abstracts have already been received), you do have plenty of time to get your abstracts submitted, but please do it sooner rather than later?

But that's not the main reason why I'm emailing this list...

We're also seeking *reviewers* for all of the abstracts we will receive. Last year, we had over 300 abstracts for the 100 speaking slots at our conference, so we are need of skilled, thorough, and insightful reviewers to decide for us which are the best of the best in educational content for the *first big Oracle technology conference of 2015*, so we can put another fantastic conference up for our attendees. RMOUG Training Days 2015 will be the 26th edition of this amazing on-going users group tradition.

If you are interested in reviewing abstracts, then *please* *forward* (rather than /reply/ or /reply-all/) your interest to tim.evdbt_at_gmail.com <mailto:tim.evdbt_at_gmail.com> and I'll get you all set up with a login to our review system, instructions, and any additional advice or guidance you may wish.

We only want you to review abstracts for the tracks in which you have experience: Application Development, APEX, ADF, Business Intelligence, DBA, Database Tools Of The Trade, Emerging Technologies, and Middleware. Please don't feel that you'll be expected to review abstracts with which you're not comfortable.

The RMOUG abstract review process needs to be completed by *Monday 06-Oct* so that we can choose the agenda on Wednesday 08-Oct. It all sounds so far in the future, but in reality, it's just around the corner. Boo!

I look forward to working with you!

Thanks!

-Kellyn Pot'vin, RMOUG <http://www.rmoug.org/> TD2015 director
-Karen Funston, RMOUG <http://www.rmoug.org/> TD2015 assistant director
-Tim Gorman, RMOUG <http://www.rmoug.org/> abstract review committee lead

------------------------------------------------

P.S. Also, RMOUG is also seeking volunteers for the Training Days 2015 conference for other duties, such as...

  • Registration Ambassador
  • Presentation Room Ambassador
  • Speaker Airport-Shuttle Driver
  • Bag-stuffing on the first day of the conference

If you're interested in any of these other volunteer roles, please fill out the volunteer form at "http://www.rmoug.org/volunteer/". We'll be asking again for volunteers closer to the time of the conference, too. Thank you so very much!
