BTW, on my post (OVM 3.3 is XEN 4.3) should read (OVM 3.3 is based on XEN 4.3) Simplistic explanation of difference: OVM includes Manager and Agent which are not part of XEN.
From the server part (OVS) which is where the stability comment would lie, Oracle states "Xen hypervisor upgraded to version 4.3" in http://www.oracle.com/us/technologies/virtualization/oraclevm/oracle-vm-whats-new-ds-2232913.pdf
The challenges I've seen include admins not configuring correctly, and overcommitting at the wrong time
