I believe it is b J   I’m not aware of any installer block that will stop this, but it’s not going to isolate your production install like the 2 system upgrade is built to do.   We have no idea what problems it might cause, not tested, not supported.

Deprecated – no longer used and will be removed/desupported in next release, support will still answer (think Information Publisher in EM, it’s on it’s way out).

No longer supported – just that, don’t ask don’t call ;)

No longer available – obsolete/removed, not an option ;)

I drink cocktails and wine, not beer ;)

Okay Pete, I’ll bite:

That could mean: a) No way that is gonna work. We know it won’t work. Don’t even bother trying.

or                             b) We have no idea whether that will work, we’re not going to try to figure out whether it might work, and don’t call us about it if you have trouble, ‘cause that is not something we support and it is not how we told you to do it.

Either meaning is reasonable, but if you happen to know it is a non-starter, that is extra useful information.

(and if you’d like to explain the differences between deprecated, no longer supported, and no longer available I’ll buy you a beer at the IOUG party at OOW.)
