Yes, you can simultaneously run different releases on Linux. You just need to make sure the prerequisites are met for all the releases to be installed, and install a separate home for each of them. If you want to use ASM, you would need to use a version of GI that matches or is higher than the RDBMS homes. There is a compatibility matrix in the documentation.
