memory question on AWR report.

I got an out of memory error this morning, on an 11.2.0.3.3 database that consists of Materialized views that happen to have been refreshing during that time period, (also queries massively parallelize automatically). I took an AWR report for the 15 minute interval between 10am and present.

I the Instance Activity section there are these hughmongous numbers. Can anyone shed light on what these mean and if they could be related? What good does it do to know my session uga memory is about 2 million, billion bytes, (did I get that, I didn't know what was above peta). And given that, how is it that that is larger than my session uga memory max of 21560 billion bytes.
