As Hans said, yes you can go for a straight install. Thanks for pointing that one out, I missed it in the whole upgrade discussion.

It is indeed a LOT better than what was there before, from what I've seen so far. Sure, a few rough edges here and there. But given time and work, it'll be a very good product. Which likely will convince Larry to charge for it... :-(
