You are on BP1 and have my condolences. I will just put this out here, because BP1 was a sore spot for me- I was told to recommend it and then a number of months later, was informed that *maybe* it wasn't as solid a release as they had hoped. It's been pretty much disregarded since. I believe and correct me if I'm wrong- release 3 doesn't even have an upgrade option included in it from BP1? BP1 was someone's cruel joke on the EM12c world... :( Go release 2 or 3 and be done with it... BP1 is a four letter word in my book!

I wish I could say that my situation, as stated in the oracle-l link referenced above, is better, but it isn't. The last SR I opened, I was asked to upgrade to 12.1.0.2 from 12.1.0.1 BP1 without specific knowledge that my (current) issue was addressed. I was similarly told to upgrade to BP1 in the hopes of solving my EM12c woes, but it hasn't. And as the jump to 12.1.0.2 is a complete upgrade rather than a patch and have no guarantees that my issues are resolved, there is near-zero chance of me upgrading.

BTW, to add to my previous list, EM12c thinks I have >10x more processes on my DB server than has ever existed and I have high non-database host CPU that is unaccounted for.

Perhaps it's because my DBs are on AIX? I don't know, but I'm looking forward to a stable EM12c someday.
