A 6.3GB memory footprint for a 3-4GB DB?!??!? If the units of measure are correct, what are your pool sizes, both in use and as stated in the init.ora/spfile?
Also, I've found that Sysinternals' Process Explorer (now an MS product) gives better insight than the default Task Mangler. Still free from sysinternals.com (will redirect to MS' site).
