I would go back and run the cluster verification utility with a emphasis on user equivalence etc. Checking for pathing differences first off....Check to make sure both nodes are at exactly the same OS kernel rev and patch release.

anyone seen this before. 2 node cluster on sun-sparc, 10.2.0.4. Node one
went in fine, received this on node two. Not a file ownership problem,
everything is owned by oracle:oinstall.
