I've got the Ford and a number of Weinberg's as well. My 'go back to' list also includes
- Compiler Design in C (Holub)
- Operating Systems (Tennenbaum)
- Database (O'Neil & O'Neil)
- Algorithms (Knuth)
But my absolute fav is "Enough Rope to Shoot yourself in the foot", Allen Holub. Just 'cause of the title, and 'cause it's true that most programmers I see these days - because I am called in after them - have just "Enough ..."
