VM Ware Licensing for RDBMS EE, SE and SE1

Can someone point me to some official Oracle documentation on the processor calculations for the RDBMS licensing in a physical server environment and a VM Ware environment
It seems to be notoriously hidden in the support and licensing areas of Oracle.com
