Hi Experts,
Has anybody tried or is aware if a 3rd voting disk on nfs is supported on Solaris 10 x86? Oracle released a white paper for 10gR2 and 11g but both papers specifically mention Solaris SPARC. Does it mean it is not supported on x86?

We want to setup RAC with 2 storages and hence want to have a 3rd VD on nfs but our env. is Solaris 10 x86. Generally there is only 1 storage and all VDs are on it. But here since we have 2 storages, we want to take advantage by placing 1 VD on each and a 3rd on nfs so that even if 1 storage goes down, RAC continues. BTW, its designed such that each storage will have a different database, so by having RAC up (after 1 of the storage dies), we can still have the other database available.
Thanks.
