is_recur_flags - what is this

Can anyone explain what the parameter is_recur_flags is and how it can change from the default if it is not set in the spfile?

I have a 4 node RAC cluster (11.2.0.2) and am noticing some differing plans on a particular node with a different OPTIMIZER_ENV_HASH_VALUE in GV$SQL.

Looking at GV$SQL_OPTIMIZER_ENV the only difference is for is_recurs_flags which is set as 32 in 3 of the nodes and 0 (which I understand is the default) on one node.

I cannot see this parameter as being set in any of the 4 instances.

Can anyone shed some light on this?
