moving a GI home: Oracle 11gR2

Hello,
Just wondered if anyone has successfully moved a GI home in 11.2.0.2 to a new location.

According to the docs it is possible:

When I tried this it seemed less than successful.

Anyone succeeded in doing this got any tips to share?
