Workflow Mailer sending lot of emails

Hello Gurus,

Happy New Year to all.

We are noticed that Oracle Workflow Mailer sending close to 100k emails during application testing. We stopped mailer to prevent email influx. If i start workflow mailer, it sends open notifications out anyway. Any hint or fix to prevent these email influx when we start mailer again.
