RAC - Public / Private network configuration on EC2

I have tried to do a bit of googling against both the Amazon support forum and general Internet but I do not find anything helpful perhaps because of the the different way private public network can be interpreted.

I am curious if there is anyone here who has attempted setting up a RAC on amazon cloud. How would one go about fulfilling the RAC requirement of having a separate public / private network? Would virtual interface be of any use between instances given the limitation that instances do have only one interface? Any guidance would be appreciated
