One more thing, it's always confusing to follow the patch read me file... Hope, Oracle support guys will make more effort in writing a complete guide ... For example, there is no entry to this solution in the read me file, also, the patch readme file only talks about RAC patching and I believe this patch is also used for single instance patching... how many oracle customers have their systems running in single instances? I don't believe there are more RAC customers than Single instances systems customers.
