Robert,

You will have to pick the software only installation option. At the end of the installation, you will be asked to run one of 2 scripts. One script will setup the grid infrastructure for a RAC, the other script will configure GI for Oracle restart.

Is it possible to install Oracle Restart without using/installing ASM for a 11gR2 standalone server?� As I read the documentation, it seems like you cannot do one without the other.
