You might want to read the Center for Internet Security's guide to hardening <value> where <value> can be anything from a server OS, a network device, a desktop OS or a server software. This URL points directly to the Oracle Database guides.
But there is quite a lot more. Browse around and you can find other interesting papers.
You should also probably read the official documentation from Oracle on Security:
