From where would you transport this tablespace? And since this tablespace already exists in the database I can't expect using Transportable Tablespaces to do you much, if any, good. What is in this tablespace? You could attempt to take the file offline but what does Oracle support instruct you to do? You should really create an SR for this as a Sev 1 and get the assistance you (hopefully) have paid to receive. When there was a chance to bounce the server, Database is having hiccups to come up. Is there an option to use Transportable Tablespace? or keep this datafile offline and bring the DB up. Please lend your advice if there is any sort of recovery. Description: SQL> startup ORACLE instance started.
