I use TiddlyWiki (wiki on usb/one html file) and have it published at tiddlyspot for free so I can share my brain dump on the web.. http://karlarao.tiddlyspot.com/

For files (pdf/books), I use dropbox
For images or notes, I use Evernote.. and then picasa for my blog photos For MindMaps, I use Mind42
