There are backports to capture a RAT workload on pre-11g databases, but you'll need 11g to replay it. What version do you have?

Hi,
I was thinking in a tools that capture and replay real database workload for benchmarking and upgrade functionality testing;
I have never seen a tool that can reproduce database workload, however I just heard about a tool called iReplay.Probably its a payed tool, so I was considering the mechanism that does that, what to consider and so on.
Does anyone know any other tool (preferably free) that does that or similar.Its a point that I consider starting to develop a tool (free) to do that, but I have no idea which mechanism consider.
Any clue is more than welcome.Thank you.Alex
